The EXR-401 Orbit semi-automatic horizontal wrapping machine is similar to the EXR-301, but with the added feature of holding the film at the beginning of the wrapping cycle and cutting it off at the end of the cycle. It is designed for wrapping long items such as carpets, fabrics, pipes, rails and other long profiles in wrapping film. It is also suitable for applications where taping is not possible, e.g. due to the small circumference to be wrapped or the need for even more gentle fixation. It is suitable for plants with medium packaging capacity. The delivery includes infeed and outfeed stainless steel workbenches. The advantages of this machine are its simple operation - semi-automatic operation including the function of holding the film at the beginning of the wrapping cycle and cutting it off at the end of the cycle, electro-pneumatic drive, low operating costs and low maintenance requirements. Other technical characteristics are identical to EXR-301. I.e. simple and robust design, rotation of the turret is controlled by a frequency converter (smooth start and stop, precise oriented stop and continuous speed control), 2 working modes (A - adjustable number of wraps from 3 to 11, B - continuous wrapping), cycle start by foot pedal, adjustable wrapping speed up to 100 rpm, adjustable film tightening force and unique film tensioning system with friction roller for smoother wrapping. The resulting effect is a firm yet gentle fixation of the packaged goods.
